Speaking about overpopulated countries I can’t help mentioning that it is a very difficult problem for many countries in the world. And there is nothing surprising about it. It is very difficult for government of overpopulated country to provide people a good level of living. Such as large salary, health insurance, vocation pay, social payments and other. And as you know overpopulated countries as a rule have not strong economy. And there are many problems now in these countries. The reasons why backward countries have so large population are both social and ethnic.

Chinese People’s Republic, for example, has now more people than other countries have. For centuries Chinese developed their culture. They created especial culture with their own rules and tradition. And so that they are especial society now. Chinese people respect and admire families with many children. Old Chinese proverb says that children are joy for young parents and support for old parents. And so that it was not abnormal for traditional chinese family have seven or ten children 100 years ago. But today government is trying to limit number of children in the family. Couples which decided not to have any children have many exemptions. They are paid large amounts of money, they can choose more suitable job, they also pay less taxes than couples with children do. Today traditional chinese family has one child. And it is considered as standard. “One family –one child” is government’s politics now.

As you know many overpopulated countries have traditional economy. It means that instead of well-developed market economy with its progressive policies they have economy which based on the old rules and traditions. Most of all these countries have only agricultural sector in economy. And so that for centuries people tried to give birth many children. They thought if they would give birth many children that would help them to survive. That’s why many backward countries have so large population.

But from the other hand overpopulated countries have large workforce. Workforce is the total number of people who could be employed. And so they may obtain successful results and raise their cultural and economical level. But first of all these people have to find suitable job. And this is unsolvable problem for most overpopulated countries.

In conclusion I’d like to say that in the overpopulated countries the government has to limit the number of children in the family. Only then they may raise level of living and provide their people with policies that many well-developed countries have.
